Service as Choreography
At The Blue Pearl, dinner is a performance. This is what sets this service role apart from anything you’ve experienced before. You don’t simply serve food. You present culinary jewels. Imagine: You bring the caviar course to the table. It’s not served on a plate, but in a golden Fabergé egg branded with The Blue Pearl. Or you serve dessert in a golden treasure chest that releases light and aroma when opened. You work in sync with the show. When the aerial acrobats finish their performance and the lights dim, your timing is crucial. You learn to move elegantly, almost like a dancer, so as not to disrupt the magic of the moment, but to enhance it.

Are you worried you’re not good enough? Don’t be. We won’t throw you in at the deep end. A key advantage of this service position is our in-house training program. Our Managing Director and Sommelier, John Michel Maurer, is a true hospitality professional with a modern twist. He and his management team will guide you every step of the way. At the Blue Pearl Academy, you’ll learn everything you need: from impeccable etiquette and product knowledge to storytelling. You’ll become an expert on our wines and the spectacular signature cocktails created by Head Bartender Tino Kasner, served with fragrance bubbles and mist. We invest in you so you can operate at the highest international level.
Variety guaranteed: From dinner to clubbing
Another reason why this service position is so exciting is its versatility. In the early evening, you’ll attend to gourmets enjoying our 7- to 11-course menus. Here, composure, discretion, and expertise are essential. Later in the evening, The Blue Pearl transforms. The tables are cleared away, the music gets louder, and we transform into an exclusive club. Now you’re serving guests in evening attire who want to party. You’ll be serving champagne bottles with sparklers and be part of an energetic party atmosphere. In addition, there are events in the „Captain’s Room,“ our luxurious English-style lounge. Here you’ll serve rare cognacs and cigars in an ambiance reminiscent of the Titanic or a gentlemen’s club. No two days are the same.
Your Profile:
